For now I have't time to read everything so I will just remind you that the initial plan was to divide Poland

So eastern WARSAW would be in the Soviet Union... Is Warsaw in Western Belorus ? Or maybe it is Ukraine ?

OK. I have read it and I am quite SHOCKED.
Is that really so BAD with information you can get out there about the conflict ?
I can answer the questions in DETAILS if someone will ask them and translate my answers ( I can handle reading the questions in Russian - most of them...).
Jesus, people some of you are talking PURE nonsense.
Nonetheless I can anwer your questions - in time of circa 20 hours after reading them, I even got few books about fights in Setember and OCTOBER 1939 against the Red Army right here...

Limited resistence in Wilno and other region - most of the units retreated to lLatvia and Lithuania.
Except GRODNO. Three day battle against Red Army. Small regular units - mainly reserve Cavalry Brigade 'Wolkowyjsk'

Lots of fighting. Mainly Border Guards, especially in Sarny fortified region.
Later you have also regular large units such as 'Polesie' group or gen. Anders' Cavalry Group.
Most notable clashes - Szacko-Wytyczno to 2nd October with serious losses cuffered by Soviet 57th division if I am not wrong.

CRITICAL. It was supposed to be so-called 'Romanian Bridgehead' where the Polish Army was supposed to survive until French offensive made some progress.
Also the warsupplies and equipment was arriving to Romania at that time and was supposed to be sent here.
ALL units were supposed to breakthough out there.
Also the government and the 90 airplane strong airforce was there.
Numerous clashes with the Soviets, but because it was the primary target of the offensive too most of POWs were captured here including Lvov/L'viv/Lwów garrison.
Many unist which evacuated were out there including the 10th Motorised Cavalry Brigade and the rest of the airforce.
A couple of airfights between Polish fighters and Soviet planes were noticed out there. Soviet losses - unknown, maybe up to 5 planes.
Polish losses none - probably one fighter was damaged after beating 2 I-153 and 1 I 16, but it is not 100 % reliable.
The war is STILL researched - before 1989 it was banned topic.

Polish forces fighting at that time.
500 000 soldiers +
200 000 reservists in eastern Poland - target of the Soviet invasion.
It was around 30 weak divisions from planned 45-48 full divisions - around 50 % of the army.

According to modern
military studies estimated time when Poland would be defeated by Germany without help - another
6-8 weeks depending on the weather conditions.
So WITHOUT Soviet help it would last to 1st November - 14th November IF nothing would happen in the western front.
It should clear some doubts here, I hope.

Overall the Soviet Union acted just like ITALY in June 1940. Same target, much weaker opposition ( circa 10 000 Poles vs around 1 000 000 Soviets).
